Product Terms and Conditions

I take great pride in customer service and will always endeavour to provide the best possible experience for all customers. Please read the following terms and conditions before placing your order.

When you order a personalised item, please ensure that the details you enter are correct. Once I have started making your product, I cannot make changes to the personalisation or issue a refund for details that were incorrect when ordered. If you do make a mistake, please contact me as soon as you notice. If I haven’t started personalising, I’ll be more than happy to make changes for you!

When you order a bespoke item, I’ll be in contact with you to discuss your requirements, the cost, and the timescale for getting the item to you. Once you have approved the final design, I’ll start making, at which point the item cannot be returned and a refund cannot be issued. Please make sure to check the final design thoroughly before giving your approval.

Please note, Caroline Meer retains the right to all designs, both for use in promotional material and in future work. I will remove any identifying features from designs before posting on social media or on my website.

I reserve the right to use any reviews or feedback on my website and on promotional material.  

I take great care when packaging products to ensure their safe arrival. If your order arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact me immediately to arrange a replacement or repair.

If you are not completely happy with your purchase when it has arrived, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I will take all reasonable steps to rectify any issues.

Privacy Policy

When you contact Meerly An Idea or review a product, you submit certain information voluntarily. This includes your name, email address, comments, and any other information you share. If you buy something from this site, Caroline Meer will collect contact information and details of what you bought. If you buy something for someone else on this site, Caroline Meer will collect their delivery details and contact information. Caroline Meer is the sole website administrator that can see and edit that information. 

Your name and contact information will only ever be used by Caroline Meer to fulfil your order, or to send details of future updates or offers via e-mailing list, from which you can unsubscribe at any time. No payment information is stored by Caroline Meer. 

Payments are processed using Stripe and WooCommerce – please see their Policies for their use of your data.

What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments or reviews, Caroline Meer reserves the right to use these for marketing purposes. You can request to receive a file of the personal data held about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that any personal data held about you is erased. This does not include any data that is obliged to be kept for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent
Visitor comments, emails and reviews may be checked through an automated spam detection service. No other distribution is permitted or actioned.

This prohibition also includes framing any content from this site on another site, as well as unauthorised linking. Any modification or use of the materials from this site for any purpose not explicitly permitted is a violation of Caroline Meer’s copyright and other proprietary rights.

Use of material from this site without Caroline Meer’s prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
